Pricing Information

Deposits

50$ deposit is required to book a tattoo appointment, and it is a compensation for me in case you need to cancel. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and you will be able to pay this fee with a credit/debit card when submitting a booking form. Deposit will go towards the final price of the tattoo.

My deposits will cover a one time rescheduling policy. If rescheduled 48 hours before our appointment, there is no fee to reschedule and the original deposit will apply to the new session. If done after this time, you’ll need to pay another deposit to book a new session and the original deposit will NOT be applied to the session. This is to cover my time as it’s very difficult to fill a slot in under 48 hours.

You will not be asked for a deposit for color tests or touchup appointments.

Tattoo Pricing

My tattoo minimum is 120$ and at the moment my hourly rate is also 120$. My clock starts from the moment you come in for the appointment. In case we are taking a little longer to make some decisions, or if I just end up talking a little too much during the appointment, please do not worry, I will take all this into account and adjust the price accordingly.

For custom tattoos, a fee of 50$ will be added on top of the hourly cost of your tattoo.

For play compositions, the first hour will be 80$ (that is usually the time it takes to create the design of your tattoo) and every hour after that will be 120$.

You will be able to pay the remaining balance on the day of the appointment and after getting tattooed. I accept CASH ONLY. Unfortunately there is no ATM in the building or the surrounding area, so please account for the time you will need to get your money before coming if for our session.

Note: Please keep in mind that my tattoo and deposit rates might be slightly higher than this when I am doing guest spots, so I could cover my traveling expenses.

Color tests & Touchups

Color tests are 50$ for those who do NOT self-identify as a Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. For everybody else this service will be free. These appointments are intended for us to see how the ink color heals with your skin tone. This fee covers my time and expenses. I require CASH as a form of payment at the end of of your appointment.

Touchups will always be free of charge for everybody.

Pricing Examples

There is many factors that determine how much time it would take to finish a tattoo. Placement, the amount of detail and color fill, how well your skin has been moisturized prior to the appointment, etc. All of this makes it is very hard to estimate exactly how long it will take for me to tattoo each design, and at the moment I am not able to send price estimates for every single tattoo request.

So instead, I decided to show you some examples of tattoos I have done in the past, and approximately how much you should expect something similar to cost. This should give you a pretty good idea on what will be the price of your tattoo.
In case you do have a strict budget, you will be able to indicate that on the booking form. If needed, I can try to accommodate your budget by limiting amount of color or making a tattoo a little smaller. In case the design you chose is way out of your price range I will ask you to choose a different design or I will unfortunately need to cancel your booking request and return your deposit.

I categorize all my appointments into three different time frames:

Small tattoos (2h)
Medium sized tattoos (4h)
Big Tattoos (6-8h)

No matter what type of the tattoo design you are planning on getting, you will be able to chose between these three time slots. Please look through these examples carefully, so you would be able to select the right appointment.

Small tattoos

This appointment is for tattoos that are simple or small. Color work that is under 1.5" in size or simple line-work up to around 3''. Price for these will range between 120-250$.

Medium Sized Tattoos

This is the category that most of my appointments usually fall under. Select this option if you are getting a tattoo that is around 2-4" and has a lot of black or color fill, or very detailed line work. Prices for tattoos like these will range from 250 to 550$. Keep in mind that even though some of these tattoos are on the smaller side if they are in a more complicated placement, have a lot of different colors or a lot of details they will be on the higher end of this price scale. Colors can be very temperamental and depending on how well your skin is moisturized they can take a long time to tattoo.

Big Tattoos

This appointment is for designs that are around 4-5" or more in size and are very intricate in detail and/or have a lot of fill and color.
This appointment would take anywhere from 5-8 hours of work. Please make sure that you do not have any other plans on the selected date. This appointment is also intended for people that are looking to get two or more tattoos in the same day, just by themselves or with a friend. Prices for tattoos like these start at 550$ and can cost up to a 1000$. If you are looking to get a bigger tattoo but would rather split the session into two, please go ahead and book your first appointment as a medium sized tattoo, and we will arrange our second session at the end of that appointment.

Why are tattoos so expensive?

Tattoo pricing comes down to overhead costs and hidden labor hours. Tattoo equipment is expensive, especially when you provide high quality ink and needles. Tattooing is also very physically demanding and I can only do a certain amount of tattoos before my body starts to ache.

You may only spend a few hours with me but behind the scenes, I spend many hours drawing the pieces I tattoo, corresponding with clients, and creating a comfortable and safe environment for our appointment. I am an artist, but also my own bookkeeper, manager, marketer, photographer, among other things! Being self employed means I pay for my own health insurance, pay extra taxes, and I don't get any paid sick time or vacation time. Being able to have time off is very important for me, because that is how I fuel my creativity and social energy, and this allows me to be fully present and excited for every coming tattoo appointment.

I try to keep my prices transparent and fair and in line with the industry standards, while protecting and taking care of myself and trying to make this job sustainable over a long time. When you choose me to tattoo you, please take all of this in consideration and know that I am so grateful and appreciative of everyone who is willing to save and invest in their permanent art from me.
